A surprise connection from a new neighbor and friend is just what I needed to start writing again. He was so complimentary that it has made my day!

I have not written in my blog for 4 years. The pandemic had something to do with that but mostly I have been in and out of a mild depression. Still missing my love. my pal. my friend. my biggest cheerleader. It will never end but it does evolve over time. He visited me in a dream last night! So there is that. I have to remember that it was the best 40 years of my life and count the blessings and memories. I tend to wallow in a pity party for myself and then I watch videos of him singing and playing drums and a smile is on my face.

I have been procrastinating and being lazy about doing things I need to get done. But my shrink says, “Hey, sometimes you just have to do nothing”. I sometimes watch heartwarming movies to get me out of the funk.

I have a craft fair on November 9th, The Bellaire Arts and Crafts Fair. I have a ton of stuff to do to get ready for that. I have made tons of stuff to sell and I am damn well proud of all the art I made.

I am still teaching at 3 medical schools and acting at them as well. Such a fun gig! I have made so many wonderful friends for life people. It really has enriched my life. I like them and they like me, too.

I really love the work and teaching medical students is way more rewarding than the High School I taught at in gang-ridden East Los Angeles. These medical students really want to learn and are so appreciative of what we do. I will continue this as long as I like it and am able.

I have so much more to fill in about the last four years that I will be writing regularly. It is so good for my soul.
